GSSS Boys,Sarkaghat,Distt.-Mandi is situated in the palms of Lindi Dhaar and surrounded by Chanderakdi Jungle of Sarkaghat .School is situated at  Tehsil headquarter Sarkaghat.This school was established as Primary school in 1910.School was upgraded to High school in 1948 and was taken over by Indian Govt. in 1950.It was further upgraded to Senior secondary level in 1986.
School right from its beginning has produced a big number of Engineers,Doctors,administrators ,army officers and other valuable human resource for this great country.
